How Applicants Provide Proof

Applicants submit a short self-assessment form and a small set of outcome images showing how their work looks on the day and how it wears over time.

Qelvea Refined Finish Index™ (RFI)

Proof under the RFI is evidence-based, outcome-focused, and proportionate.
Applicants are required to demonstrate consistent alignment, not isolated best results.

1️⃣ Core Principle of Proof

Applicants must provide verifiable evidence that supports their self-assessment scores across multiple outcomes.

Evidence must be:

  • recent
  • representative
  • consistent
  • anonymised

No single image or example is sufficient on its own.

2️⃣ Accepted Evidence Types

A. Outcome Case Sets (Primary Evidence)

Applicants submit case sets, each representing a complete treatment outcome.

Each case set should include:

  • before images
  • immediate post-treatment images
  • in-wear images (7–14 days post-treatment, where applicable)

Minimum requirement:

  • 3–5 case sets per service type

Why this matters:

  • shows structural planning
  • demonstrates wearability
  • proves longevity readiness

B. Process Documentation (Supporting Evidence)

Applicants explain how outcomes are achieved, not just how they look.

This may include:

  • treatment mapping or planning notes
  • decision-making rationale
  • product and processing considerations
  • aftercare strategy

This demonstrates professional reasoning, not just execution.

C. Consistency Evidence

Applicants must demonstrate that outcomes are repeatable, not exceptional.

Accepted formats:

  • multiple client outcomes with similar refinement levels
  • time-staggered case sets
  • outcome summaries across different clients

Consistency is weighted more heavily than intensity.

D. Written Self-Reflection

Applicants provide short written responses explaining:

  • how they apply refinement principles
  • how they manage asymmetry
  • how they plan for wearability and longevity

This supports assessment of intent and judgement.

3️⃣ Evidence by Criterion (What Assessors Look For)

RFI CriterionEvidence Focus
Structural HarmonyMapping logic, growth alignment, anatomical respect
Symmetry & BalanceManagement of natural asymmetry across cases
Softness & FlexibilityIn-wear imagery, comfort indicators
WearabilityMakeup-free, real-life images
Longevity ReadinessEven fade, growth, structural stability

4️⃣ What Is NOT Accepted as Proof

The following do not qualify as sufficient evidence on their own:

  • single “best” images
  • heavily edited or filtered images
  • images without timestamps or context
  • testimonials without visual support
  • training certificates unrelated to outcomes

5️⃣ Verification Measures

To protect integrity, Qelvea Standards may:

  • request raw or unedited images
  • request additional case sets
  • verify timestamps or sequencing
  • require clarification or resubmission

Refusal to provide verification may result in deferral.

6️⃣ Evidence Submission Standards

All evidence must:

  • be anonymised
  • respect client privacy
  • be submitted in required formats
  • accurately represent the applicant’s work

Misrepresentation may result in refusal or withdrawal of recognition.

7️⃣ Professional Accountability

Applicants confirm that:

  • evidence is their own work
  • outcomes represent typical practice
  • no third-party work is presented

False declaration may result in immediate rejection or revocation.

8️⃣ Why This Proof Model Works

✔ Demonstrates real-world performance
✔ Prevents cherry-picking
✔ Measures wearability and longevity
✔ Protects the standard’s credibility
✔ Scales as the framework grows
